Manson Family Member, Former Death Row Inmate Denied Parole

Leslie Van Houten is a convicted killer and the youngest Manson family member who was originally sentenced to death for her atrocious crimes, including stabbing her victim 16 times and showing no remorse for her actions. Van Houten was found suitable for parole by the California Board of Parole, but was denied by Governor Brown because she still is an extreme danger to society.

State Agencies Complete Inquiries Requested by Senator Anderson Regarding Alpine EMF Levels

State Senator Joel Anderson sent a letter to Governor Brown imploring him not grant this vicious killer parole. Anderson stated, “It is deeply troubling that Van Houten, an individual who is capable of such evil and whose very existence was deemed such a threat to our community that she was sentenced to death, could be paroled. That this brutal killer is even being considered for release is why many Californians support the death penalty in the first place.”
