Nobel Peace Prize Nominees, Senator Anderson, and Human Rights Advocate to Address Human Rights Abuses by Chinese Government

Lectures will be held at local universities and focus on the Chinese communist regime’s forced organ harvesting
Monday, October 30, 2017

California State Senator Joel Anderson (R-El Cajon), Canada’s former Secretary of State and Nobel Peace Prize Nominee David Kilgour, International Human Rights Lawyer and Nobel Peace Prize Nominee David Matas, and human rights advocate Dr. Shizhong Chen will give two lectures to educate the public on human organ trafficking in China.

Kilgour and Matas will present evidence that the communist regime in China is responsible for organ harvesting and murdering innocent human beings throughout China and cremating their bodies after transplanting the desired organs for money.

Anderson will speak on how China's communist regime attempts to silence and hide this genocide. Anderson recently tried to pass Senate Joint Resolution 10, which would have urged the People’s Republic of China to immediately end the persecution of Falun Dafa practitioners. The resolution was on its way to unanimous support until the Chinese government interfered.

Chen will explain how billions of dollars are spent on propaganda and China’s attempts to use Chinese people abroad to shape others’ view through slander.

Falun Gong, also known as Falun Dafa, is a faith practice that strengthens the physical and mental health through meditation. Due to the fear of losing ideological control of Falun Gong practitioners, the Chinese communist government banned the practice in 1999. Compelling evidence exists that Falun Gong prisoners have been the source of the dramatic increase of organs available for transplantation in China.

Print and broadcast media are invited to both lectures. Anderson, Kilgour, and Matas have media availability throughout the day on Thursday. To schedule interviews, contact Lea Park-Kim at (619) 596-3136. Both lectures are free and open to the public with Eventbrite registration (SDSU, UCSD).
